What goes into a profile, where the evidence comes from, and what we will not claim.
Every firm profile on this site is assembled from the ranked assessments we publish. A firm appears in the directory because it was assessed in at least one ranking, and each section of its profile names the ranking it came from and the position it held there.
That is the whole basis. We do not add biographical detail, headcount, headquarters or founding dates unless the assessment we are drawing from states them, because a directory that mixes assessed findings with unsourced background stops being checkable.
The coverage matrix marks an area as covered when a firm was assessed in a ranking for that area. A partial mark means the firm was assessed in the area but placed outside the group we judged to have demonstrated delivery in it. An empty cell means we have not assessed the firm there, not that it cannot do the work.
We do not publish a single overall ranking of AI firms. Quality is area-specific, and a firm that is strong in supply chain forecasting tells you nothing about its agentic AI practice. Assessments are published per area and stay there.
We do not take payment for placement, in any form, and no firm can pay to be added, moved or removed.
Where a figure comes from a firm's own materials rather than an independent source, the profile says so. Vendor-reported numbers are labelled as vendor-reported.
If something here is wrong about your firm, send the correct value and a source we can check. Corrections with a source are straightforward. Corrections without one take longer, because we have to find the source ourselves.
