EY launched its EY.ai Agentic Platform in March 2025 with NVIDIA, building custom frameworks for designing and deploying agentic AI, with an initial deployment integrating AI agents into tax work to support more than 3 million tax compliance deliverables. EY partnered with IBM to build EY.ai for tax on watsonx, addressing data challenges that limit workflow automation in regulated finance functions. The firm reported $53.2 billion in global revenue for fiscal year 2025, up 4% in local currency, following a $1.4 billion technology investment that also produced its broader EY.ai platform.

EY's generative AI work leans heavily toward tax, risk, and finance functions, where the firm's existing audit and advisory relationships already run deep, rather than a general-purpose build practice spanning every function equally.
